Daniela’s creative approach to light, color and shape reflect her own varied life experience as an artist, architect and interior designer. As an Egyptian born Italian, who has lived in Alexandria, Italy, Venezuela, Panama and now Miami, she brings a wide range of references and techniques to her body of work. Most of all, she delights in pushing the boundaries between realism and the abstract.
After mastering hyper-realism using prismacolor pencils and oil paint, she has now also begun to experiment with mix media, creating her own language by blending charcoal, pastels and watercolors. When Daniela isn’t busy in her Miami studio working on her own projects or commission, she most likely can be found enjoying time with her grandson Luca at the beach or talking long walks with her husband José Luis.
